65th anniversary: Edward P. and Elizabeth Roos II

Mr. and Mrs. Edward P. Roos II of Ferdinand are celebrating 65 years of loving, caring and sharing.
Edward P. Roos II and Elizabeth Ann Bartley were married November 27, 1954, in their hometown of Ferdinand at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church.
Elizabeth (Betty Ann) is the daughter of the late Walter and Lucille (Weyer) Bartley and Edward (Eddie) is the son of the late Edward P. and Goldia (Schmidt) Roos.
Their wedding party was Walter Bartley, father of the bride; Tommy Roos, brother of the groom; Pearline (Bartley) Brahm, sister of the bride; Barbara (Scroggins) Zoglmann, cousin of the bride; Mitzi (Hassfurther) Oser, Myron Fischer and Danny Schnell, friends of the couple.
They are the parents of five children: son, Edward P. Roos III of Holland; daughter, Glenda (Robert-Bots) Marlin of Newburgh; sons, Michael and Chris (Tina) Roos, both of Ferdinand; and the late Debra Roos. They have six grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
