Herman and Laura Kohlman of 2930 Woodside Court in Evansville will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a small gathering of family and friends.
Herman Kohlman and Laura Korff were married Nov. 24, 1948, in Trinity Lutheran Church in downtown Evansville.
The Kohlmans are the parents of David Kohlman and wife Pat and Paul Kohlman and wife Charlotte Fritch, both of Evansville, and Joanna Holtman and husband Larry of Clinton, Ill. They have six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Kohlman retired as the chief executive officer of Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper in 1989 after 18 years. Mrs. Kohlman was formerly employed by Deaconess Hospital and VNA as a registered nurse.
