Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hollinden of Jasper are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.
Fred Hollinden and Pat Woebkenberg were married on July 3, 1954, in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, Ferdinand, by Father Edwin Miller.
Their attendants were Sarah Wilmes, Pearlene Peters, Mary Ellen Wehrle, James Wintercorn and the late Willie Bartley, Ed Beyerle and Dan Prior.
They are the parents of Susan (Mitch) Yeakley of Kokomo, the late John Hollinden, Max (Sheila) Hollinden of Decatur, Illinois, Mark (Pam) Hollinden of Louisville and Greg (Chris) Hollinden of Jasper. They have 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Hollinden retired after 40 years in education as a teacher, Jasper High School principal and assistant superintendent of Greater Jasper Consolidated Schools.
Mrs. Hollinden retired as a bookkeeper for the D-S-P Exceptional Children’s Co-op.
