Mr. and Mrs. Gerald “Gary” Gentry of Huntingburg will mark their 60th wedding anniversary on Friday, Feb. 16, 2018.
Gerald Gentry and Emmalee Ring were married on Feb. 16 1958, in Augustana United Church of Christ in Holland.
They are the parents of five children, Garalyn Kinkade of Evansville, Gregory and Gordon Gentry, both of Huntingburg, Gretchen Thompson of Louisville, Kentucky, and Glenda Proffer of Seymour. They have 14 grandchildren (one is deceased) and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Gentry is retired from Dale Construction, which he owned. Mrs. Gentry is retired from Northwood Good Samaritan Home.
The couple will celebrate with an open house hosted by their children immediately following the 11 a.m. church service on Sunday, Feb. 18, at Augustana United Church of Christ. Hors d’ oeuvres and cake will be served.
