Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Nordhoff of Celestine will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018.
Verena Jochem and Clarence Nordhoff were married Jan. 25, 1958, in St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry.
The late Father Linus J. Hopf officiated. Their attendants were Doris (Nordhoff) Klem, Vernita (Nordhoff) Klem, Roman Jochem, Robert Nordhoff, Jerome Nordhoff, the late Esther (Jochem) Welp, Cyrilla (Jochem) Knies and Jim Sermersheim.
Mr. and Mrs. Nordhoff are the parents of Arlene Wittman, Connie Schepers, Gary and Randy Nordhoff and the late Alan (“Butch”) Nordhoff. They have 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Nordhoff are retired farmers. Mr. Nordhoff also is retired from trucking livestock.
A Thanksgiving Mass was read by Father John Brosmer at St. Nicholas Parish, Santa Claus, on Tuesday, Jan. 23.
