50 years: Tom and Barbara Jahn

Tom and Barbara Jahn are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
On Oct. 31, 1970, Tom and Barbara were united in marriage at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg, Indiana. A reception followed the wedding at the C K of A hall in St Henry. Maid of Honor was Linda Kemper, sister of the bride, and bridesmaids were Rita Weyerbacher, Martha Coomer, Pete lichlyter and Becky Schwinghammer. Best man was Larry Seger, friend of the groom, and groomsmen were Charles Rummel, Steve Brace, Mark Rauscher and Jim Bartley.
In the years that followed, Tom and Barbara raised four children: Alicia (Gary) Heldt of Hazelton; Ryan (Amie) Jahn of Bedford; and Adam (Bethany) Jahn, and Megan (Bryan) Lampert, all of Jasper. Their four children have now been blessed Tom and Barbara with sixteen grandchildren.
Tom is a retired Indiana Conservation Officer, now employed part time at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. Barbara devoted her life to home and family. She faithfully supported the work of her husband, and devoted her life to caring for her children and the needs of others. Both are now actively involved in Church Ministry at Grace and Truth church in Ireland.
