50 Years: Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Bromm

Delmar “DEL” and Doris (Hohler) Bromm will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a 5 p.m. Mass of Thanksgiving officiated by Father Ryan Hilderbrand on June 8 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Huntingburg. The couple were married June 7, 1969, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church by the late Father Patrick Shaughnessy, OS

Their sons, Dean (Elaine) Bromm of Huntingburg, Duane (Jennifer) Bromm of Wadesville and Douglas (Jill) Bromm of Ireland are hosting a dinner reception for invited guests following Mass in St. Mary’s Activity Center. They also have four grandsons and four granddaughters.

Their attendants were Allen Bromm, Frances (Hohler) Giesler, Ralph Bromm, Paul Bromm, Edward Hohler, William Hasenour, Janice (Bromm) Kreilein, Eileen (Bromm) Lee, Sarah Hohler and Sharon (Kunkler) Geise.

Mr. Bromm is self-emplyed as a broker-realtor with Hoffman-Mullen Realty and served in the U.S. Army nearly four years with 2 1/2 years in Germany assigned to AG. Mrs. Bromm is retired from Stens Corporation and is a homemaker. Mr. and Mrs. Bromm also are owners of D. Bromm LLC, Northview Estates/Rentals and involved in several ministries at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

The couple requests no personal gifts. In Thanksgiving, a donation may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Dubois County Community Foundation or a favorite charity.
