Melvin and Dorothy Meyer of Dubois will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They will attend the 9 a.m. worship service Sunday, April 13, in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Haysville, followed by a dinner for invited guests at KlubHaus 61 in Jasper.
Melvin Meyer and Dorothy Eisenhut were married April 18, 1964, in Portersville Presbyterian Church in Portersville. The Rev. Thomas Clayton officiated. Their attendants were Helen (Hoffman) Shearer, Peggy Meyer, Sarah (Kieffner) Giesler, Jerry Jackle, Glenn Meyer and Darrell Eisenhut.
Mr. and Mrs. Meyer are the parents of two children, Lisa Meyer of Greenwood and Steven Meyer and wife Debbie of Dubois. They have three grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Meyer own and operate Meyer Custom Woodworking.
