50 years: Louis and Joan Schwenk

Louis and Joan Schwenk of Jasper will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Aug. 13.
Louis Schwenk and Joan Fischer were married on Aug. 13, 1970, in St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony. Father Malachy Fulton officiated at the ceremony. Ramona Fischer (Roach) was maid of honor and Urban Schwenk was best man. Other attendants were Donna Fischer, Marilyn Fischer (English), Diane Fischer, Bernard Schwenk, Thomas Schwenk and Douglas Scherle.
The couple has one daughter, Lisa (Thomas) Schwenk Ritchel, Bloomington.
Mr. Schwenk retired from NSWC Crane. Mrs. Schwenk retired from the Jasper School Corporation.
