The children of Leo and Ann Oxley announce their parents’ 50th wedding anniversary.
Leo Oxley and Ann Meyer were married on Dec. 21,1968, in St. James Lutheran Church in Holland by Pastor H. E. Bruns.
The Oxleys have four children, Becky (Tim) Carlisle, Lane (Vikki) Oxley, Linc Oxley and Carrie (Chad) Guillaume. They have six grandchildren.
Mr. Oxley retired from teaching in the Southwest Dubois County School Corporation. Mrs. Oxley Ann retired from teaching in the Pike County Schools.
The Oxleys enjoy producing maple syrup, beekeeping, gardening (especially growing big pumpkins), wine making and spending time with friends. They enjoy time spend with family at sporting events and on trips. The couple likes to inspire their grandchildren to invent and design and have “project” days when great ideas are nurtured.
An open house celebration will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 at the Lockhart Township Community Center (Stendal Gym).
