Larry and Pat Hopf, Jasper, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a Mass at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jasper, followed by a dinner for invited guests.
Larry Hopf and Pat Jahn were married May 4, 1963, in St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Anthony.
The late Father Fidelis Jent officiated. Their attendants were Bonnie (Carter) Hoffman, Sharon (Jacob) Hopf, Mary (Humbert) Sander, Martha (Betz) Bohnert, Mary Ann (Hopf) Mehringer, Betty (Hopf) Mehringer, Charlie Hopf, Maurice Hopf, Jim Hopf, Larry Jahn and the late Charlie Rasche.
The Hopfs are the parents of Michelle Koenig and husband Russ of Terre Haute, Tonya Knies and husband Greg of Ferdinand, Duane Hopf of Jasper, Kurt Hopf of Houston, Texas, and Renae Christianson and husband Andrew, Bloomington. They have nine grandchildren.
Mr. Hopf is retired from farming at Mill Creek Farms, and Mrs. Hopf is retired fromthe Dubois County Farm Service Agency.
The family is planning a vacation to Jamaica in July to celebrate.
