Larron and Bev Luegers of Jasper will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, Aug. 24.
Larron Luegers and Bev Eckert were married on Aug. 24, 1968, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jasper, by Father Ken Betz. Their attendants were Terry and Sandy (Eckert) Ruxer, Ron and Mary Jane (Rudolph) Eckert, Judy (Banta) Blakeslee, Ruth (Dupps) Stipp, Joyce (Verley) Fisher, Chesty, Jeryl and Dave Luegers, Skip Place, Dave Harder, Shari (Eckert) Krempp and Joe Weidenbenner. Servers were Mike Luegers and Paul Eckert.
They are the parents of Michelle Luegers of Jasper, Janelle (Philip) Stratman of Evansville and the late Adrienne Luegers. They have two granddaughters, Olivia and Meredith Stratman.
Mr. Luegers retired from Bob Luegers Motors and Mrs. Luegers retired as a nurse educator and school nurse.
