Janice and William Rubino of Jasper are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Janice Sturm and William Rubino were married on Dec. 22, 1968, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jasper.
The bride’s attendants were Leah (Sturm) Garrison, Margaret (Blessinger) Seifert, Phyllis (Sturm) Schneider, Anne (Dudine) Maas, Suzanne (Kennedy) Brown and Barbara Ginter. Attendants for the groom were Robert Rubino, James Ruder, William Radacinski, Garry Garrison, Joe Steurer, Gregg Sturm, Tony Kerin II, Frank Mistretta and Jerry Tewell.
The Rubinos are parents of four sons, Michael Rubino and Mark (Mel) Rubino, both of Zionsville, Chris (Amy) Rubino of Valparaiso and Nicholas (Serena) Rubino of Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York. They have six grandchildren.
Mrs. Rubino is a retired physical therapist and homemaker. Mr. Rubino, formerly of New York City, is also retired and was the president of JOFCO.
They are celebrating with family this Christmas and will be taking a family trip at a later date.
