50 years: Harold and Dorothy Bair

Harold and Dorothy Bair of Dubois will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, Sept. 8, with a service of thanksgiving at 10 a.m. in St. John Lutheran Church, Dubois Crossroads. A dinner for invited guests at the Celestine Community Club will be followed by an open house from 2 to 4 p.m.

Harold Bair and Dorothy Wening were married Sept. 7, 1963, in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Haysville. The Rev. A.D. Rehrig officiated. Their attendants were Eldena (Wening) Maas, JoAnn (Bair) Elliott, Ruth (Sendelweck) Weisheit, Mildred (Wening) Brown, Darla (Bair) Talbert, James Bair, Carl Wening and Kenneth Neukam.

Mr. and Mrs. Bair are the parents of two children, Derrick Bair and wife Terra of Ireland and Deidra Pieper and husband Scott of Celestine. They have seven grandchildren.

Mr. Bair retired from Dubois Elevator Co., and Mrs. Bair retired from Old National Bank.
