50 Years: Dennis and Dorothy HautschSeptember 14, 2021
Dennis and Dorothy Hautsch of Jasper are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Dennis Hautsch and Dorothy Cardinal were married August 14, 1971, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. The ceremony was officiated by Father August Fichter, who also married Dorothy’s parents, Morris and Irene Cardinal.
The wedding party consisted of Juanita (Volz) Glezen as maid of honor; Mike Eisenhut as best man; and Bonnie (Messmer) Budde, Marlene (Hausch) Eck, Bart Shafford and Gene Davis. Ushers were David Cardinal and Steve Hautsch.
The Hautsches are the parents of two daughters, Dana Hautsch and Dawn Cook. They have four granddaughters and one great-grandson.
Dennis and Dorothy were both self-employed. Dennis retired from sales after 37 years and Dorothy continues to manage her sewing shop doing alterations and embroidery.
A private family celebration will be held in the near future.
