50 years: David and Marilyn Kress

Mr. and Mrs. David F. Kress of Jasper will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary and renew their vows Saturday, June 8, at the 5 p.m. Mass in Holy Family Catholic Church, Jasper. A dinner for invited guests will follow. The couple requests no gifts.

Dave Kress and Marilyn Kreilein were married June 8, 1963, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jasper. The late Father Albert Scheller officiated. Their attendants were Diana (Kreilein) Clark, June (Heck) Giesler, Mary Carolyn (Kiefer) Hopf, Betty (Schutz) Roos, Lee “Toot” Horney, Don Kreilein, Rick Kress, Ron Leinenbach and the late Donna (Kress) Bonifer and Tom Kress Jr.

Mr. and Mrs. Kress are the parents of Kurt Kress of Long Beach, N.Y.; Jason Kress and wife Giah of Gallatin, Tenn.; and Maria Duncan of Jasper. They have six grandsons and a great-granddaughter.

Mr. Kress retired from Forest Products after 45 years, and Mrs. Kress retired from German American after 35 years.
