Darrel and Patty Cox of Dubois will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 20, 2018.
Darrel Cox and Patty Elliott were married on Jan. 20, 1968, by Father Albert Scheller in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jasper.
Their attendants were Ann Ackerman Arvin, Janice Eckert Mehne, Kris Elliott Hochmeister, Becky Schmitt Boehm, Jim Arvin, John Elliott and the late Bill Mattingly and Mike Williams. Their usher was Mike Elliott. Their flower girls were Shelly Allen Deom and Ann Gadlage Neely.
They are the parents of two daughters, Lauren (Rex) Gehlhausen of Bristow and Amy (Richard) Mora of Luzern, Switzerland. They have four grandchildren.
Mr. Cox retired from Jefferson Trucking. Retired, Mrs. Cox works part-time for Forest Products Manufacturing Company Inc., Jasper.
The couple will celebrate in February with a family dinner.
