Danny and Linda Kalb of Dubois will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a 4:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday, Dec. 28, in St. Raphael Catholic Church, Dubois. An open house will follow from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Dubois Ruritan Community Center.
Danny Kalb and Linda Bleemel were married on Dec. 27, 1969, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Ireland, by Rev. Raymond Kunkel. There attendants were Mary Anne (Bleemel) Wools, Elaine (Kalb) Reuber, Emily Kalb, Penny (Denu) Eisenhut, Nancy (Bleemel) Sermersheim, Jeff Kalb, Bob Bleemel, Mike Eisenhut, the late Bob Kalb and the late Rich Bleemel.
The Kalbs have three children, Dana Wilson of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Steve Kalb and Andrea Mehringer, both of Dubois. They have five grandchildren.
Mr. Kalb is a self-employed turkey farmer. Mrs. Kalb retired from the Northeast Dubois School Corporation and St. Isidore Parish-St. Raphael Catholic Church.
