50 years: Alan and Rebecca Matheis

Alan and Rebecca “Becky” Matheis of Ireland will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 5 with a gathering at the Arnold F. Habig Center, Jasper, hosted by their children for family and invited guests.
Alan Matheis and Becky Terwiske were married on Jan. 2, 1969, in Jasper.
They are the parents of Shawn and Lisa (Strohmeyer) Matheis of Huntingburg, Kelli and Mark Gehlhausen of Ireland, Adam and Jenny (Bays) Matheis of Dale and Allison and Matt Allen of Greenville. They have 16 grandchildren, two late grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Matheis are both retired.
