5 COVID-19 cases reported at Jasper nursing home

JASPER — Good Samaritan Society's Northwood Retirement Community has confirmed that three residents and two staff members at the Jasper facility have tested positive for COVID-19.
According to a statement from Northwood Administrator Diana Jones, "The Good Samaritan Society remains aggressive in its infection control measures and testing of residents and employees."
"We are working closely with the Indiana [State] Department of Health and value its guidance during this pandemic," the statement reads. "Protecting the health and safety of our residents, employees and the community we serve remains our highest priority."
