4 Heimatfest events will take place
May 6, 2020FERDINAND — Although the Heimatfest scheduled for June 19 and 20 has been canceled, four events will take place — the Jeep Run, Teen Ambassador Award, Golf Scramble and annual raffle.
The raffle drawing will take place on Wednesday, June 20, and winners will be notified. Raffle envelopes have been mailed to households in the Ferdinand community, and can be mailed back to P.O. Box 133. To purchase a raffle ticket, contact Sue Fink at 812-630-2839 or Neil Weyer at 812-661-2711. All entries must be received prior to the June 20 drawing.
The eighth annual Heimatfest Golf Scramble, presented by Tretter & Company Jewelers and benefitting Forest Park Boys and Girls Golf, will begin with a 2 p.m. shotgun start Sunday, June 14, at Christmas Lake Golf Course.
