MALTERSVILLE — No injuries were reported after a three-vehicle collision Monday evening at a bridge construction site south of Jasper.
A 2013 Chevrolet Sonic driven by Jeremy D. Wagler, 44, Ferdinand, was stationary on State Road 162 facing southbound for a red light at the Maltersville bridge construction site south of Schnellville Road at the time of the 7:05 p.m. mishap, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department.
A deputy said Wagler’s Sonic was rear-ended by a 2010 Ford Escape driven by Grace A. Seivers, 19, Jasper.
The impact sent the Wagler Sonic into the rear of a 2010 Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by Andrew M. Day, 17, Ferdinand.
The Day Ford was able to be driven from the scene but the Wagler Sonic and the Seivers Escape were removed from the scene by a Uebelhor & Sons wrecker.
There were no injuries.
A deputy cited Seivers for unsafe speed.
Total damage was estimated at between $10,000 and $25,000.
