JASPER — The Jasper Police Department arrested a 22-year-old Jasper woman today after a three-month-long investigation looking into the theft of $10,000 in jewelry from a local jewelry store.
On June 12, the Jasper Police Department reports that they started an investigation at Olinger Diamond Center in the Southgate Shopping Center in Jasper regarding missing jewelry.
Between the dates of May 31 and June 12, police say that the store had more than $10,000 in jewelry taken.
Today, an arrest warrant from Dubois Superior Court was issued and Chloe Sibrel, 22, of 327 E. Fifth Street was taken into custody on six counts of Level 6 felony theft.
Sibrel was transported to the Dubois County Security Center where she is currently lodged.
