BRETZVILLE — Two wreckers were called after a midday collision Tuesday south of Bretzville.
Brianna R. Eckert, 20, of rural Huntingburg, was northbound on State Road 162 in a 2012 Mini Cooper when the 11:59 a.m. accident occurred at Old Road 162, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
Eckert slowed and signaled to turn east onto Old Road 162 when a trailing vehicle was unable to stop and attempted to go around the Mini Cooper on its passenger side.
The other vehicle, a 2013 Ford driven by Veronica Dice, 51, Ratliff, Kentucky, struck the Eckert car, according to the sheriff’s office.
Total damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
Wreckers from Berg’s Garage and Bob Luegers Motors assisted.
