HAYSVILLE — Two occupants suffered injury when a pickup truck overturned early Wednesday afternoon at the Sendelweck Curve east of Haysville.
Matthew Waggoner, 18, Shoals, was eastbound on State Road 56 in a 1993 Dodge pickup truck when the 12:40 p.m. accident occurred about 1 mile east of County Road 325E, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
Waggoner lost control of the vehicle on wet pavement, according to a deputy. The truck went off the south side of the highway, struck an embankment and overturned.
The Dodge stopped on its roof facing west.
Waggoner suffered minor cuts to his arm and declined transport.
A 15-year-old passenger from Loogootee was transported by ambulance for treatment at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center after suffering a cut hand and complaining of neck and back pain.
The truck was totaled in the crash.
The Haysville Volunteer Fire Department, Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services and a Sternberg Automotive Group wrecker assisted.
