JASPER — One motorist complained of pain after a two-car collision Friday afternoon on U.S. 231 by the Southgate Shopping Center.
Miguel Lopez, 32, Jasper, was stopped in a 1997 Acura Integra waiting to make a left turn at the time of the 4:19 p.m. accident, according to the Jasper Police Department.
Lopez stopped behind a vehicle to await a chance to turn, and when he did, his Acura was rear-ended by a 2003 Ford Focus driven by Joseph Kindley, 38, Shoals, according to police.
Kindley complained of knee, left eye and lower back pain, according to police. He was transported for treatment to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. He was treated and released, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
Police cited Kindley for driving without financial responsibility.
