BRETZVILLE — One motorist complained of pain after a two-vehicle collision Friday morning at the Bretzville Junction.
Anthony Durcholz, 48, Birdseye, was westbound on State Road 64 in a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu when the 6:15 a.m. accident occurred at the highway’s intersection with State Road 162, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
Durcholz attempted to turn left to go south on State Road 162 without noticing an eastbound 2011 Toyota Corolla driven by Mary Allen, 53, Cuzco.
The cars collided in the intersection, according to police.
Allen complained of chest pain and was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center for treatment, according to the sheriff’s office. A hospital spokeswoman said she was treated and released.
Durcholz escaped injury.
Both vehicles were totaled.
The St. Anthony Volunteer Fire Department, Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services and a Uebelhor & Sons wrecker assisted.
