HOLLAND — One driver complained of pain after pickup trucks collided at the intersection of two county roads Tuesday south of Holland.
Jared L. Beck, 31, Ferdinand, was southbound on County Road 720W in a 2018 GMC Sierra when the 10:01 a.m. accident occurred at County Road 1075S, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said Beck’s GMC was struck in the passenger side by an eastbound 1999 Ford driven by Kevin L. Persohn, 60, Huntingburg.
Beck believed he was in a through travel lane and, because the intersection is laid out in a confusing manner, no fault was placed on either driver, according to the investigating deputy.
Persohn complained of neck pain and was transported by ambulance to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. A hospital spokeswoman said he was treated and released.
Total damage was estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.
