JASPER — One motorist complained of pain after a car-versus-SUV collision late Friday afternoon at Kellerville Road and Cathy Lane.
Ronald L. Taylor, 77, Otwell, was eastbound on Cathy Lane in a 2010 Buick LaCrosse at the time of the 5:25 p.m. accident, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said Taylor stopped at Kellerville Road, then proceeded into the intersection to continue eastbound on Cherry Street without noticing a southbound vehicle on Kellerville Road who had the right of way.
The front of the Taylor Buick struck the passenger-side corner and wheel of the southbound 2008 Toyota Highlander driven by Emily N. Dart, 44, Jasper.
Dart complained of chest pain and was transported for treatment at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. A hospital spokeswoman said she was treated and released.
Total damage was estimated between $10,000 and $25,000.
A Bob Luegers Motors wrecker assisted with both vehicles.
