JASPER — One motorist complained of pain after SUVs collided this morning at 30th and Mill streets.
Kimberly G. Butler, 42, Jasper, was eastbound on 30th Street in a 2016 Jeep Renegade at the time of the 5:51 a.m. accident, according to the Jasper Police Department.
Butler stopped at the intersection with Mill Street and said she had just taken her foot off the brake pedal when her Jeep was rear-ended by a 2006 GMC Envoy driven by Michael J. Carr, 61, Loogootee, police said.
Carr stated he believed the Jeep stopped, started and then stopped again, police reported.
Butler complained of neck pain but declined EMS, according to police.
Damage was estimated at $3,000 to each vehicle.
An officer cited Carr for following too closely.
