Domestic dispute leads to Saturday arrest

JASPER — A call early Saturday reporting a domestic dispute led to an arrest.

Jasper Police Department officers responding to a 1:19 a.m. 911 call spoke with a female who alleged that Dakota A. King, 25, 1330 Leopold St., Jasper, had not allowed her to leave the residence and had, at one time, displayed two serrated steak knives.

Authorities booked King into the Dubois County Security Center at 5:10 a.m. on a preliminary Level 3 felony count of criminal confinement with a deadly weapon.
