Rose Fern Semites, 78, Petersburg, died at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at The Waters of Huntingburg.
She was born in Stendal on Aug. 18, 1935, to Edith Rollins. She married Alan Semites, who died in 2008.
Surviving are two sons, Tim Edward Hibbs of Bradenton, Fla., and Larry Harris of Petersburg; two daughters, Deborah Bell of Huntingburg and Kimbra Hammack of McCloud, Okla.; two brothers, Albert Rollins of Illinois and Larry Dale Rollins of Tennessee; and 10 grandchildren.
She was employed as a nurse at Wirth Osteopathic Hospital in Oakland City.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
