HUNTINGBURG — A tip about disturbing images on a computer resulted in a Huntingburg man’s arrest this morning for allegedly possessing child pornography.

Dubois County Sheriff’s Department deputies and a Huntingburg Police Department officer investigating the tip at 5:45 a.m. went to the 401 E. Second St. home of Barry S. Wright, 45.

After being advised of the complaint, Wright allowed officers in and, during the course of the investigation, two computers were located that contained at least two pornographic images of underage children, according to Huntingburg police.

A Huntingburg officer arrested Wright on two Class D felony counts of possession of child pornography. He was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 8:48 a.m.

Police said the two computers and several other electronic devices were taken into evidence for further examination.
