Kimball awarded multi-year contract

JASPER — Kimball Electronics Group has been awarded a new assembly contract with Cooper Safety, a division of Cooper Industries.

The contract includes manufacturing of printed circuit board assemblies for electronic controls used in fire safety products for Cooper Safety marketed under several brand names, including the Fulleon brand. Fulleon is Europe’s leading producer of premium fire alarm signaling devices, which are supplied to many countries around the world.

The multi-year, multi-million dollar contract includes manufacturing of printed circuit board assemblies for electronic controls used in smoke detectors. Kimball Electronics-Poland, located in Poznan, was selected as a strong regional manufacturing partner for the contract. The project will launch in late April, with full production beginning in June.
