Father Tim Tenbarge witnessed the marriage vows of Katelynn Marie Wessel and Matthew Lee Schnell on Saturday, June 8, 2013. The ceremony took place at 1 p.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville.
Gerry and Lisa Wessel of Ferdinand and Rick and Denise Schnell of Schnellville are parents of the couple.
Marissa and Lauren Schnell gave out programs.
Organist Dan Racicot accompanied Steffi Schmucker as she sang for the ceremony.
Readers were Vicki Jahn and Roxanne Wessel-Dudley. Audra Dorsam and Keith Schnell, godparents of the bride, and Kim Voegerl and Mark Kluemper, godparents of the bridegroom, carried the offertory gifts. Kenny Leisman was Eucharistic minister. Servers were Aaron and Austin Welp.
Mr. Wessel gave his daughter in marriage. The bride chose Taylor Wessel as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Morgan Wessel, Tara Leisman, Brooke Mohr, Allison and Breann Dorsam, Rachel Kerstiens and McKenzie Persohn. Ava Mohr was miniature bride.
Marshal Lueken was best man. Groomsmen were Bryan Thacker, Tony Leisman, Luke Mohr, Kody Dorsam, Casner Wessel-Dudley, Brandon Leonard and Adam Fleck. Brandon Schnell and Isaac Wessel-Dudley were ushers. Miniature bridegroom was Caydan Leisman, and ring bearers were Dylan and Reece Leisman.
A reception was held at the St. Anthony Community Center.
The couple is at home in St. Anthony after a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico.
