Jasper man arrested on battery, strangulation chargesNovember 25, 2013

JASPER — Keith A. Singer, 31, of 518 Newton St., was arrested at 7:12 p.m. Saturday by the Jasper Police Department and charged with a Class D felony count of strangulation and a misdemeanor count of battery with injury.
Singer was arrested after police received a complaint that a woman had been battered. During the investigation, the victim said she was grabbed by the neck and pushed into the exterior of a home by Singer.
Authorities booked Singer into the Dubois County Security Center at 11:04 p.m.
