HUNTINGBURG — Dylan R. Johnson, 22, of 402 S. Walnut St., was arrested this morning by the Huntingburg Police Department on a Class B felony count of sexual misconduct with a minor.
Last month, Huntingburg detective Sgt. Christian Gogel, with the assistance of the Dubois County Department of Child and Family Services, launched a sexual misconduct investigation involving an incident alleged to have occurred in September 2013. The investigation began after a parent contacted authorities concerning their 14-year-old daughter.
Today, at 9:30 a.m., Gogel spoke with Johnson at the Huntingburg police station to further the investigation. Then, at 11 a.m., Johnson was arrested on the felony sexual misconduct count.
Authorities booked Johnson into the Dubois County Security Center where is currently being held without bond.
